Temperature

• For temperatures ranging from 5°C to 15°C, the recommended reducer is DR-777W
• In temperatures between 10°C to 25°C, again, DR-777W is the preferred choice.
• When working in conditions of 20°C to 35°C, opt for DR-777S as your reducer.
• In temperatures of 30°C or above, DR-777S is the recommended reducer for optimal results.

• Whether you're painting 1-3 panels or 4 panels or more, the choice of reducer remains consistent:
• For 1-3 panels, use DR-777W in temperatures up to 25°C and DR-777S for higher temperatures.
• Similarly, for 4 panels or above, DR-777W is suitable for temperatures up to 25°C, while DR-777S is recommended for higher temperatures.

APPLICATION GUIDE

Stirring

Before application, it's crucial to stir the Ik322.50 1k thoroughly to ensure uniform consistency and optimal performance.

Surface Preparation

Begin by wiping the surface dry with a clean cloth. Sanding is essential to remove rust or corrosion, ensuring a smooth and adequately prepared surface for painting.

Mixing Ratio

The mixing ratio for Ik322.50 1k is straightforward: 1 part Acrylic Primer-Surfacer Ik322.50 1k Gray to 1 part Thinner. Maintaining the correct ratio is critical to achieving the desired finish and performance.

Spray Conditions

Gravity Feed

1. Maintain a pressure of 2.0~3.0 bar during application.
2. Apply 2~3 wet coats, keeping a distance of 20~25 cm from the surface.
3. Use a fluid tip size of 1.2∼1.5mm, ensuring a dry film thickness (D.F.T.) of 25∼50μm.

Siphon Feed

Apply at a pressure of 3.0~4.0 bar. Similar to gravity feed, apply 2~3 wet coats from a distance of 20~25cm. Use a fluid tip size of 1.4∼1.6mm to achieve a D.F.T. of 25~50μm.

Flash Time

Allow 5 minutes for flash time between coats to ensure proper drying and adhesion.

Set Time

After application, allow 5 minutes for the coating to set, ensuring a firm bond to the surface.

Protective Equipment

• To safeguard against inhaling or being exposed to fumes, it's essential to use appropriate protective equipment.
• Utilize a fresh air mask or charcoal respirator during application to ensure safety and minimize health risks associated with fume exposure.

Drying Time

• Time to Sand:50 1k requires approximately 15 minutes to dry sufficiently for sanding at a standard room temperature of 77°F (25°C) after application. This quick drying time allows for efficient progress in the painting process.

• Wet Sanding Considerations: In damp sanding, allowing water to evaporate completely before proceeding is essential. Ensure the surface is thoroughly dry to prevent moisture-related issues like humidity blistering.
