• Stackable: After 24 hours, the treated surfaces are ready for stacking or further handling, ensuring practicality and convenience in project management.

Product Composition Details

Fire Retardant Polyurethane Sealer (VP900.77)

• Comprises 100% of the product's Weight and Volume, emphasizing the purity and concentration of the fire-retardant properties.
• This high ratio ensures maximum efficacy in delivering fire resistance to the treated wooden surfaces.

Polyurethane Hardener (HP180)

• Contributes to the product composition with 50% by Weight and 55% by Volume.
• It serves a crucial role in enhancing the curing and hardening process of the sealer, ensuring a durable and resilient protective layer on the wood.

• Volume Expansion Under Fire: This innovative sealer enlarges in Volume upon contact with fire, contributing to its effectiveness in safeguarding wood against flames.

• Certificate Validity: The fire retardancy certificate is only valid when VP900.77 fire-proof PU sealer, fire-resistant MDF, and VP900.25 Fire Retardant Polyurethane Matt Varnish are applied together.

Application Methods

Surface Preparation

Before application, it is crucial to prepare the surface adequately:

• Sand the surface with 220-400 grit sandpaper.
• Remove dust and foreign materials such as oil, silicone, and varnish residues.
• Excessive abrasion may reduce the fire retardant property, so proper care is necessary.
• Ideal application involves three coats of sealer and one coat of top coat. For higher fire retardancy, additional coats/quantities can be applied.
